Rob and I have been up to all sorts of things lately…

Lately Rob has been traveling to Prince George playing bass with the blues-rock band Bitterly Divine. This week he’ll be traveling more. So far he’s performed at Treasure Cove Casino and Lheidli T’enneh Pavilion. Along with playing bass for different people Rob also writes and performs with indie-singer-songwriter Candace Curr for her music project Candace Curr and Withe. Candace just released a music video for the very catchy Hear me. Check it out below!

I’ll be entering festival land for 2 weeks at the Talking Stick Festival, an all Indigenous performing arts festival, running from Feb 17th to March 1st. I assist the festival with marketing and fundraising. This year some of the events/activities I’m looking forward to include: Raven Spirit Dance’s workshops, Tanya Tagaq and Leela Gilday’s concert, Our Generation concert, From Talking Stick to Microphone and theatre such as Children of God and Salt Baby. I’ll also be helping facilitate a workshop that Full Circle and Music BC is hosting called How to plan for an album release.

It’s gonna be busy for Rob and I! During this time we’ll continue adding onto our Ontario tour, building our bookings for the rest of the summer as well as working on our duo set.

See you & talk soon
